Terms & Conditions


























“Buyer” means the person who buys or agrees to buy the Products from the Seller.


“Seller” means Myroofwindow.co.uk, whose address and registered company no. is:

“Conditions” means the terms and conditions of sale set out in this document and any other terms and conditions agreed in writing by the Seller.


“Delivery Date” means the date estimated by the Seller when the Products are likely to be delivered.


“Products” means the goods to be purchased by the Buyer.


“Price” means the price for the Services or Products including, packing and VAT, unless otherwise stated.


“Delivery Costs” (Transport costs) means the price for transportation to your door, calculated per delivery, not by product.


“Services" means the services to be provided by the Seller to the Buyer.


“Consumer" is a person who is not acting in the course of a trade or profession.

















Conditions applicable

The contract between the Buyer and the Seller shall incorporate these conditions, which shall govern the contract to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions.


Occasionally documents produced or supplied by the Seller contain errors or omissions. The Seller always takes care to avoid such errors or omissions. However, should such an error or omission occur, then the Buyer shall not be entitled to rely on that error or omission which shall be corrected by the Seller without any liability on the part of the Seller.


If any provision of these conditions is adjudged invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of these conditions and the remainder of those provisions in question shall not be affected.


If the Seller is unable to deliver the Products ordered then any sum paid by the Buyer to the Seller for the Products will be refunded to the Buyer.


Nothing in these conditions shall affect the Buyer's statutory rights as a consumer.
























Delivery and Service

The Seller shall deliver the Products to the address given by the Buyer at an estimated time to be agreed with the Buyer. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed delivery times.


The Seller shall use its reasonable endeavours to meet any estimated date agreed for delivery, but shall not be liable for any delay caused in delivering the product.


Where an order contains more than one Product, all Products will be delivered at the same time once all items are available.


All Products are sold on a supply only basis, and do not include installation or other necessary building works.


The Buyer agrees to pay for any loss or extra cost incurred by the Seller as result of any instructions, lack of instructions, failure or delay in taking delivery, acts or default on the part of the Buyer, its servants, agents or employees.


Products will only be delivered to the doorstep, or nearest ground floor access point of the buyer’s property.


Products are delivered according to the delivery schedule. it’s not possible to select a specific delivery day. Delivery date and time will dependent upon the most optimal planned (multi-day) delivery route.


Delivery cost of £30.- is calculated per delivery, not by product.


Collection is possible by appointment only, depending on product availability, at our collection point in Middenmeer, the Netherlands.

















Price and Payment

Save as provided otherwise herein the Price shall be that as stipulated in the Seller's published price list current at the date of order of the Products, or such other price as may be agreed between the Buyer and the Seller. In the event of any increase in taxes / duties, or where the Seller becomes aware that the Price is incorrect for any reason, the Seller may change the Price payable under the contract upon written notice.


If the Seller gives notice of Price change, the Buyer shall have the right to cancel the order and receive back any sums paid. In the case where the Seller has performed or part performed Services, the Buyer shall pay to the Seller such proportion of the original Price based on the percentage of the Services completed by the Seller at the date of the notice.


Buyer can pay online by or Credit Card (no additional fee) or PayPal (administration costs 1.7%), or pay upon delivery to our driver with Cash. Please note, each bank will have different withdrawal limits should you opt to Credit Card. Please check with your bank, your daily withdrawal limit.


Notwithstanding any other provision herein title in the Products shall not pass to the Buyer until the Seller has received in cash or cleared funds payment in full.


























Cancellation and Returns

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, private individuals have the right to return the products within 14 days, preferably in a resalable condition with their original packaging. Please do not stick any labels on nor write directly on any product packaging.


Before cancellation or returning, Buyer will need to notify the Seller by Phone or E-mail.
The products will be collected by our own transport service, for a £ 30.-- (incl. VAT) collection fee.

Alternatively, the Buyer may arrange transportation by an external courier. Note, that the Seller cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to the returned product, caused by an external courier. In this case Seller cannot guarantee a (full) refund. Buyer must pay all costs involved in transporting the products back to the warehouse from which they were despatched.

Refunds will be made within 14 days by bank transfer, provided that the Seller receives the products in the same condition they were in at the time of delivery to the Buyer. We will be entitled to deduct the costs of restoring the products to a resalable condition, from the amount to be refunded to the buyer.

The right to return or cancellation, becomes void by bespoke or specially ordered products.


Seller reserves the right to cancel the order if:
-We do not deliver to your area,
-One or more of the products you ordered was listed at an incorrect price
(due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers).


If Seller cancels the Buyers order, the Seller will notify the Buyer by Email and will refund the Buyer any sum deducted by the Seller as soon as possible but in any event within 14 days.




























Warrenties and Liability

The Seller warrants that the Products are of satisfactory quality.


The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the Product is assembled and installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, and that the installation complies with relevant Building Regulations and Planning Laws.


Insofar as is permitted by law, the Seller's only liability to the Buyer will be, at the Seller's sole discretion, to make good any shortage or non-delivery to replace or repair any Products that are damaged or defective or to refund to the Buyer any sums paid for the Products.


The Seller shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind.


The Seller shall not be liable to the Buyer for any loss or damage of whatever nature caused by events or circumstances beyond the Seller's control.


Risk of damage to or loss of the Products shall pass to the Buyer upon delivery.


Complaints need to be valid, must be submitted within 5 working days. Claims for defects from the stated specification or due to visible damage, need to be valid, at delivery are registered. Regarding complaints each partial delivery is considered a separate sale. Myroofwindow.co.uk undertakes a justified complaint to redeliver the goods as soon as possible.


Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside the reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, reduction in or availability of power, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials.


The liability of Myroofwindow.co.uk e.g. under any contract is limited to a maximum of the invoice value of the goods concerned. Any further liability regarding damage is excluded.
























Product Guarantees

The guarantee on the Standard Roof Domes are:
10 year guarantee on:
-manufacturing defects,
-light and weather resistance of the acrylic and or polycarbonate.

The guarantee becomes void:
-as the domes be mounted on other than the kerb delivered by us (e.g. on wooden stands),
-when incorrect installed, not with accordance to the manufacturer's instructions.

-If the dome comes into contact with: aggressive- or chemical vapours / or cleaning agents, thinners, adhesives, solvents roofing  materials, bitumen, silicone, wood protectors (paint, stain).


All LuXtra products purchased after November 1, 2001, provides LuXtra the following:
10 year guarantee on:
-LuXtra roof windows including glazing (excluding breakage),
-LuXtra flashings.

2 year guarantee on:
-LuXtra loft windows including glazing (excluding breakage),
-LuXtra blackout blinds and LuXtra awning blinds.


All VELUX products purchased after January 1, 1998, provides VELUX the following:
10 year guarantee on:
-VELUX roof windows including glazing (excluding breakage),
-VELUX flat roof domes/rooflights including glazing (excluding breakage),
-VELUX flashings
-VELUX interior ceiling finish LSB
-VELUX insulation collar BDX
-VELUX underfelt collar BFX
-VELUX vapour barrier BBX
-VELUX support trimmer EBY/EKY


5 year guarantee on:
-VELUX Sun Tunnels


3 year guarantee on:
-VELUX Manually or electrically operated VELUX blinds, VELUX insect screens and VELUX roller shutters,
-VELUX motors (electrical or solar-powered),
-VELUX electrical accessories (control pad, conversion kit, interface, etc.)




Electrical Equipment

All our Electrical Equipment is standard fitted with a European 2-pin Plug.
Therefore Myroofwindow.co.uk supplies a BSI approved fused euro converter with every electrical device.

The included converter plug is not an travel adaptor but a genuine converter and is after fitting only removable by use of a tool.
Our euro converters are approved to BS5733, BS1363 plug/socket features and BS1362 fuse link. Approved by BSI, these converters comply with current RoHS standards.
